Katie (K-Tea, Boss Lady)

Katie has owned her own small business in Lake Mills, IA (Pit Stop Printing) since she graduated high school. She has now taken a step into the industry and created Thread Kits & Wits (click for details) along with becoming a dealer of the Bravo embroidery machine and Mighty Hoops. Therefore, Trouble Me Knot Embroidery has come to life.

While always having passion for using her creativity, she has never considered herself to be an artist. Being surrounded by a staff that inspires each other, Katie has been doing some of her own sketches for the artwork within our kits and site.

Katie loves to inspire others while sharing embroidery through Thread Kits & Wits tutorials along with speaking at the DAX shows (Decorated Apparel Expo) on various topics including business and embroidery. Her articles & advice can also be found in the online Decorated Apparel Magazine.

Sherlock (Ms. Holmes)

Sherlock has been a valuable part of the business for many years. She has watched it grow and evolve over the years and has implemented her talents into the business.

Sherlock's talents are obvious in her art along with her daily work tasks. She has enjoyed drawing since her childhood and has done many sketches that have turned into stitch ready art that we offer in our Thread Kits & Wits and can also be purchased on website (click to see our designs).

Shelley (Shelley-Bean)

Shelley joined our team in 2015 and has brought a much needed delightful touch to our store front & display window! She takes great care of each customer as if they were her own family, which is of most importance to her!

Not only is she a great asset in beautifying our retail space, she also stays on top of production, customer service, and now has come along for the ride with our new venture and will be a critical component of our Thread Kits & Wits projects.

Shelley goes above and beyond what is expected of her and has her own set of unique talents that we are privileged to have on our team!
